Born in Pickens County, the son of the late Amos Matthew Looper and the late Venoy Raxter Looper, Mr. Looper was employed with J.P. Stevens Slater Plant for twenty-two years and retired from Engineered Products. He was a member of Nine Forks Baptist Church and the Cooper Masonic Lodge #282 AFM.
