William Norman Whitfield, 87, husband of Frankie Sue Stamey Whitfield passed away peacefully Monday, January 18, 2021 at his home in Pendleton.
Norman was a hard worker his entire life, whether it was working in the textile mills or serving his country in the US Army. He enjoyed gardening and he loved going to the Beach, something he and Frankie did every year. However, his family was most important. He loved each and every one of them.

Mrs. Charlotte McCarter Brooks, 69, wife of Reverend James Brooks for fifty-two years, went home to be with her Lord Saturday, January 16, 2021.
Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Hugh McCarter and the late Christine Velma Keeler McCarter. Mrs. Brooks was a Pastor's wife and a member of Landmark Baptist Church. She enjoyed doing crafts and spending time with family.
